All in the month of June - Wentworth Miller

It seems that this year, June is a month of happy celebrations for me and this will definitely be a month that will go down in my history books forever! [She laughs].

Of course as you know it started off with a birthday celebration for Went on the 2nd June.  I sincerely hope he enjoyed his birthday as much as I did even though I was millions of miles away.  Thank goodness for my vivid imagination because I could celebrate Went’s birthday with him in lavish style. [She giggles.]

I read too that Went caught a movie the following day after his birthday so that just put the icing on the birthday cake for me. I was literally over the moon when I read this because that’s exactly what I would’ve done and I had to smile to myself  as I pictured him sitting feasting on a whole box of popcorn and slurping down a smoothie whilst taking in the movie.  Now if my imagination is anything to go by I bet he was watching “The Great Gatsby”.

Then there was that Super Moon on the 23 June 2013.  Goodness I hope you all got to see it. What an awesome sight it was!  Hopefully you weren’t one of those folks who gets all weird when there is a full moon and that the werewolf was kept at bay.   Of course being a June baby I was magnetised by its magnificent splendour and I couldn’t help wondering if Went was going to peek up at it too.

For the crème de la crème for the month of June:

Yesterday the 29 June 2013 President Obama and his family visited my country SA.  To say that I was overjoyed and filled with excitement would be an understatement!  I guess you’re all wondering why I’m making such a big deal about this but you see it’s the first time that an American President in office has ever visited my country since I can remember.  What an occasion this was for our country and I would like to add it was an enormous honour too.  President Obama is so charismatic and despite the fact that our country has been going through a worrying time over Tata Madiba’s (Nelson Mandela’s) failing health, President Obama’s visit came just at the right time in more ways than one.  Everyone’s spirits in SA has been lifted.

Today, the 30th June (my birthday) President Obama and his family are visiting Cape Town and I must add it’s the middle of winter here in SA but we have been blessed with unusually warm weather and I’m quite sure that the Universe has something to do with this by adding an extra brightness and warmth to this historical occasion.

I understand that the West Coast of the US is experiencing an abnormal heat wave.   I do hope Went is wearing his bucket hat when he ventures outside.  Yes Went this would be a good time to take it out of moth balls and dust it off.  I can’t bare to think that you might be walking around in that unbearable heat without it and please don’t forget to put sun block on those kissable lips of yours too.

Well that’s my month of June and I do hope it blessed you too!

And as the sun sets on the wonderful month of June, I bid you all a fond farewell and thank you for reading!

A Personal Birthday Message to Wentworth Miller - 2nd June, 2013

Dear Wentworth,

I am hopeful that you will find a moment during your happy birthday celebrations, to “surf” the net, and that you will make your way to this blog.

My how time flies!  You have achieved so much in this short time too!

It seems as though it was just the other day when I extended a Birthday Invitation to you Went, to join me here on my blog to celebrate your 40th Birthday.

What a wonderful year it’s been for you. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on behalf of myself and your fans for achieving so much within the year. The release of “Stoker” (which I am yet to see) received wonderful reviews and you were justly praised for your skilful screenwriting for it.  You have certainly contributed so much of your creativity and brilliance to the Entertainment Industry this year adapting further screenplays for anticipated movies and it’s with no surprise that you are now a worthy and notable screenwriter in the Industry.   You have made your mark!  BRAVO!!!!

On a personal level you gave your fans a wonderful interview that I am sure everyone will treasure. Thank you for allowing us a glimpse into your thoughts, your creative process and your future aspirations. The two lovely photos of you that were shared with us will always be treasured too.

Went my birthday greeting for you this year is a little different from last year!

I wanted to send you a birthday gift in the post, but as I explained before, our postal service in SA isn't very reliable.  Therefore I’ve decided to record my Birthday Greeting as a gift to you instead. Besides, written words just do not convey the same warmth and sincerity as a recorded message does!  Don't you agree?

As you are so very special Went and because this is your birthday celebration, I wanted to share a very special song with you too, that has sentimental value to me, as it was one of my dear late grandmother’s favourite songs. I decided to make a video, mixing the song and my recorded message together. The music and lyrics are so lovely.  I really hope you enjoy it and I truly believe that my message and video will bring you wonderful blessings!

MWAH!
