A Classy Augustman!

Thanks to Went and the team at AUGUSTMAN MALAYSIA we are able to take a closer look at Went in the September 2014 issue.

On coming out when he did:

I came out to help call attention to what was happening to the gay community in Russia but I also came out because I was ready. ‘In my own time. In my own way.’ That’s one of my personal mottos. We should all have the freedom to move and grow and develop at our own pace. It just so happens that when the invitation came to go to Russia, I was in a place in my life where I was ready to make a public statement. The timing was right.”

On how his struggles with depression affected his writing:

“I think writing can definitely help process an experience of maybe reveal something to you that was hidden before. That’s probably why so many people keep journals. But if I was going through a tough time I wouldn’t just write about it. I’d reach for help.”

On focusing on the present:

“You know to be honest, these days I don’t dwell too much on the past or the future. The present is much more interesting. I’m grateful for the jobs I’ve had but I don’t spend a whole lot of time thinking about them. Recently this guy came up to me and he was a big fan of Prison Break and he had all these questions about some plot point in Season Two. And I only had a vague recollection of what he was talking about. For him it was totally fresh because he’d just watched the show on DVD or whatever. But for me it was like, ‘We shot that stuff eight years ago,’ I don’t even remember my character’s middle name or if he had one.”

"It's probably safe to say there's a part of me in every character I've ever played and everything I've ever written, dialed up or down several notches as required."

Thank you kindly dear Went!

My Boy Blue!

Touched by An Angel
by Maya Angelou

We, unaccustomed to courage
exiles from delight
live coiled in shells of loneliness
until love leaves its high holy temple
and comes into our sight
to liberate us into life.

Love arrives
and in its train come ecstasies
old memories of pleasure
ancient histories of pain.
Yet if we are bold,
love strikes away the chains of fear
from our souls.

We are weaned from our timidity
In the flush of love's light
we dare be brave
And suddenly we see
that love costs all we are
and will ever be.
Yet it is only love
which sets us free.

Wentworth Joins Facebook!

“Have a big enough heart to love unconditionally, and a broad enough mind to embrace the differences that make each of us unique.”

D.B. Harrop

Yes it’s true! Went has joined Facebook … finally!

It has been confirmed by “the man” himself, that this FB Page is indeed his page and not a fake.

via these photographs.

“Every person needs to take one day away. A day in which one consciously separates the past from the future... in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us.” - Maya Angelou -

Went’s FB Page is stylish, user friendly, enlightening, interesting and powerful!  It consists of Went's recent days outing in Vancouver, Canada.  Interviews (not published), articles and videos all relating to matters that he is deeply interested in and which he wishes to share with others.  Altogether, Went’s FB Page makes for some very interesting/absorbing reading and it is also very educational too.  Please check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

A message to Went.

On behalf of all of your fans we wish to thank you for connecting with us by sharing your thoughts, interests and concerns with us on Facebook.  This means a lot to all of us and we are all super excited to interact with you and also with each other by sharing our thoughts and interests on your FB Page too.

Went you are “Simply The Best” and thank you!

Bless you always Wentworth!

Finally, please remember these wise words everyone!

“Deeply respecting yourself is the first step toward having a deep respect for others.”

A Special Thank You to Wentworth Miller!

A young man, Michael Weldon, wrote this touching" Letter of Thank You" to Wentworth and tweeted it on the 13th August 2013.

I felt moved to share this letter with the hopes that in some magical way it will reach Went through the grapevine.

Wentworth's speech at HRC Dinner did indeed reach so many lives and this is just one example of what Went's courageous and selfless act achieved.

I sincerely hope that this letter touches others who may be struggling with their sexuality and who may be feeling isolated and lonely.

There is love and help, all you need to do is reach out for it.

Thank you dear Michael, for sharing your letter of "Thanks to Wentworth"!  I do hope that Went gets to read it because I'm sure it will make him very happy indeed.

If you've missed Wentworth's powerful speech, here it is.  Please listen to it. Thank you.

A Break from Captain Cold in 'The Flash'!

Went was snapped by photographers as he was heading out to take a leisurely walk during his break from the shooting of The Flash  in Vancouver on Monday 11 August 2014.

I sincerely hope Went enjoyed his time off and it wasn’t spoilt by the paparazzi.

As always a huge ‘thank you’ to dear Went for these pictures.

For Sentimental Reasons!

“Because I've grown accustomed to  Went's 'Bucket Hat' I wish to dedicate this song to it for sentimental reasons.”

I love you for sentimental reasons
I hope you do believe me
I'll give you my heart
I love you and you alone were meant for me
Please give your loving heart to me
And say we'll never part
I think of you every morning
Dream of you every night
Darling, I'm never lonely
Whenever you are in sight
I love you for sentimental reasons
I hope you do believe me
I've given you my heart
I love you for sentimental reasons
I hope you do believe me
I've given you my heart

Three very lucky ladies tweeted these photos of them and Went taken somewhere in Vancouver, BC.

I wish to thank Jannutella, blacklilac and Manuela Julia for sharing these pictures with everyone and of course to the man of the moment, Went, for posing for them.  These photos are very much appreciated by all of Went’s fans.

Check Out Wentworth Miller As Captain Cold!

'What an awesomesight for sore eyes!'

Went was back in action in front of the camera for the making of The Flash on Wednesday 6 August 2014 in Vancouver, Canada.

As usual Went looked pretty cool dressed up as Captain Cold a.k.a. Leonard Snart in a navy blue suit and coat, with his silver frosted hair and his famous penetrating Steel Blue gaze which could kill you.  Many have dubbed him a “silver fox” but don’t let those good looks fool you or steel your heart because Went’s character Captain Cold, is really very mean and nasty.  He has an objective; he has a miniature stolen cyclotron as a gun, which shoots ice that reduces temperatures to absolute zero and that means racing hearts as well.
