I found this poem especially fitting for Went, because I feel that he has achieved and accomplished so very much in his life up until now. Not only has Went entertained us in film and on television, he has also made his mark by enriching millions of people’s lives across the globe too and he probably wouldn’t admit it or take credit for it either.
In 2008, Wentworth Miller Fans for Charity raised a huge amount of money and Went personally donated a large sum of his own money too for the needy children around the world. This charity project for UNISEF was an enormous success. Went has also campaigned against drugs and has also appeared in anti-drug ads. He’s probably unaware of it but he’s been a ray of sunshine to so many sad and lonely people, young and old, across the world. He’s also been an inspiration to those who have been struggling with their schooling, careers and their creativity. Went’s sensible outlook regarding his racial and social identity is exemplary. He has been a good role model and an inspiration to so many people who have been struggling with their own social and racial identities in the world today.
The most remarkable thing about Went is that he remains true to himself. He is always modest, respectful and courteous to everyone.
I wish to thank you once again dear Went on behalf of myself and everyone for everything you have done to help and assist others in finding their way in life and for bringing joy into our lives too. These admirable qualities of yours are only a few of the reasons why I love, admire and respect you so very much.
You truly are remarkable!
God bless you always!
Happy The Man
Happy the man, and happy he alone,
He who can call today his own:
He who, secure within, can say,
Tomorrow do thy worst, for I have lived today.
Be fair or foul or rain or shine
The joys I have possessed, in spite of fate, are mine.
Not Heaven itself upon the past has power,
But what has been, has been, and I have had my hour.
