A Heartfelt Wish for Wentworth Miller!

Posted on 3:08 PM by hill wilf

Of all the things I wish for you dear Went, I would give anything if these wishes could always come true. . . .

I want you to be happy.  I want you to fill your heart with feelings of wonder and to be full of courage and hope.  I want you to have the type of friendship that is a treasure...and the kind of love that is beautiful forever.  I wish you contentment:  the sweet, quiet, inner kind that comes around and never goes away.

I want you to have hopes and have them all come true.  I want you to make the most of this moment in time.  I want you to have a real understanding of how unique and rare you really are.  I want to remind you that the sun may disappear for a while, but it never forgets to shine.  I want you to have faith.  May you have feelings that are shared from heart to heart, simple pleasures amidst this complex world, and wonderful goals that are within your grasp.  May the words you listen to say the things you need to hear.  And may a cheerful face lovingly look back at you when you happen to glance in your mirror.

I wish you the insight to see your inner and outer beauty.  I wish you sweet dreams.  I want you to have times when you feel like singing and dancing and laughing out loud.  I want you to be able to make your good times better and your hard times easier to handle. I want you to erase the hurtful moments of your past and find your peace within.  I want you to never look back but always look ahead with excitement.  I want you to have millions of moments when you find satisfaction in the things you do so wonderfully.  And I wish I could find a way to tell you...in untold ways...how important you are to me and to others and be able to express how much I love you and admire you.

Of all the things I'll be wishing for, wherever you are and whatever I may do, there will never be a day in my life when I won't be wishing for the absolute best. . . for you.

Debra.

Wentworth Miller Writes Another Chapter.

Posted on 12:55 PM by hill wilf

Went has finished another chapter in his life...

… and as he continues to write the next chapter in his “Book of Life”, I’m filled with interest and excitement.  I do hope that the world will be given the privilege to continue reading his book because I’m pretty sure that people are going to be filled with awe by his inspiration as they continue to read chapter for chapter.

Unfortunately for some, we may not get to read the end of his book. However, we will take with us what we have read from it 'cause Went will remain in our hearts forever.

Wentworth Miller's Speech at the HRC Gala in Seattle.

Posted on 4:07 PM by hill wilf
If you’ve been following my blogs and Went’s every move then you obviously know that Went was an honoured guest at the HRC Gala in Seattle on the 7th September 2013.

These are a few of the pictures of Went taken at the event.

This is an article with videos of Went’s  touching speech at the Gala.

Wentworth Miller tried to commit suicide multiple times because he couldn't handle keeping his sexual identity a secret.

Miller revealed his dark secret at the Human Rights Campaign Dinner in Seattle Saturday night, saying his first suicide attempt was when he was 15.

The "Prison Break" star says he downed a bottle of pills at home, and he wasn't crying out for help, because "you only cry for help if there is help to cry for."

Wentworth also talked about the torture of working in Hollywood as a closeted actor ... explaining he wanted to be the role model he never had ... "to be the someone else, that no one was to me."

At the Supermarket with Wentworth Miller.

Posted on 3:02 PM by hill wilf

Now imagine yourself strolling down the aisle of a Supermarket with your trolley and you spot Wentworth Miller what do you do?

  1. Blush and walk past him coyly hoping that he didn't see you.
  2. Follow him all around the supermarket.
  3. Look to see what he buys and then you buy it for yourself.
  4. Run up to him and tell him what a fan you are of his only to forget why.
  5. Bash him with your trolley and say "Oh I'm terribly sorry, but aren't you Michael Scofield from Prison Break?"
  6. Walk the other way quickly in case he spots you because you accidentally wore your slippers to the Supermarket.
  7. Giggle and blush when you approach him for his autograph.
  8. Tweet that you've spotted Wentworth Miller at such and such a place.
  9. Call your mom and tell her that you've just spotted Wentworth Miller.
  10. Curse yourself for leaving the curlers in your hair and the mud pack on your face when you spot him at the bakery section of the Supermarket.
  11. Curse yourself for not having your cell phone with you or a camera on hand.
  12. You hope that he doesn't stand behind you at the till 'cause you're not too sure if you've got enough money on you to pay the bill.
  13. Walk up to him with a big grin and ask him for his autograph and hand him a tissue 'cause that's all the paper you have on you for him to sign.
  14. See what cake he's eyeing and offer to buy it for him.
  15. Call your BFF and tell them that you've just seen Wentworth Miller.
  16. Hit him from behind with your trolley with the hopes that he'll fall back into it so that you can make a quick getaway with him.
  17. Corner him with your trolley and give him a huge big bear hug and cry into his chest declaring your undying love for him.
  18. Hand him your washing powder box to sign his autograph on only to discover your pen won't write.
  19. You hope he doesn't stand behind you at the till 'cause all you needed to buy was toilet paper.
  20. You get the hiccups when you walk up to him and ask him for his autograph.
  21. Ask him politely to have a picture with him and then tweet it on Twitter.

Tweeted the 23 August 2013

Thank you for this super picture Went! ♥

Some moments are nice,
Some are nicer,
Some are even worth
Writing about.

~Charles Bukowski~

It’s moments like these that I’m ever so grateful for Instagram or is it Statigram?  Nevertheless, when precious moments are caught on camera of Went and his fans it makes me very happy.

Went it’s wonderful to see you.  Thank you!  ♥

An Apology to Wentworth Miller.

Posted on 2:55 PM by hill wilf

After the recent news about Went making a courageous stand for Gay and Human Rights and coming out that he is gay I found myself having so many mixed emotions.

Admittedly my first reaction was shock and disbelief when I first read the news.  The first thing that jumped out was my ego.  I couldn’t believe that my Went found men more attractive than women. Suddenly, my heart shouted at my ego and told it to take a hike. Then I realised, but hey Went and I really do have many things in common and of course one thing is that we’re both attracted to men and what’s wrong with that?  After all, God created man in His image to be loved.  He made men beautiful and very sexy.  Wouldn’t you agree?

I reread the letter that Went wrote to the St Petersburg International Film Festival and this time I read it with an open mind and it all made perfect sense to me.  I was filled with so much love, pride and joy for Went.  I flew out of my seat shouting “YES THAT’S MY WENT!”  I’ve always known that Went was a courageous, decent human being and a man of principle with strong morals.  How could I’ve possibly forgotten in that instant about all the wonderful qualities that Went possesses? It just goes to show how ignorant our Ego is. I immediately blogged “Wentworth Miller:  A Man of Principle.

http://wentworthmillerwithlove.blogspot.com/2013/08/wentworth-miller-man-of-principle.html

That evening as I lay in bed going over everything that I had read in Went’s letter I was suddenly filled with so much despair and sadness.  My heart filled with immense pain for Went as I imagined him going through life keeping his sexuality and emotions all bottled up inside.  How difficult it must have been for him especially being a Celebrity and under the spot light all the time.  I wanted to take him in my arms and comfort him.  Oh if only I could’ve removed the scars from his heart. In that moment I felt utterly helpless and tears just poured down my cheeks. Suddenly in my state of despair images of sad faces kept flashing before my eyes and I realised that these sad faces are souls suffering in the exact same way as Went did.  These Souls are afraid to be their true selves... they’re prisoners in their own bodies and they are carrying such incredible pain and heartache which is inflicted on them by humanity through prejudice and hatred.

I was filled with deep shame and remorse.  I realised what immense pain and suffering humanity is causing one another… and all for what!  What could we possibly gain from subjecting other human beings to suffer in such an ignorant and insensitive way?  After all, we all come from the same God/Source/Energy and we’re all experiencing life together here on earth? Surely God/Source/Energy intended our lives to be a wonderful journey together, one filled with love, peace, acceptance, kindness, respect, hope, discovery and learning?  But instead, we (human beings) have invented fear, hatred, slavery, chains, politics, money, guns, discrimination, war and mass murder.

This blog is an apology to Wentworth and to all those whom humanity has wronged.

Please forgive me/us if I/we made you feel unaccepted and unloved at any time and in any way.  It was not my/our intention to hurt you and others at all.

I/We will strive to be more open, accepting, respectful, loving, tolerant, peaceful and kind to each of my/our brothers and sisters everywhere irrespective of their race, sexuality, beliefs, social standing and ethnic backgrounds.

Let us all join together in solidarity with Wentworth and other peacemakers across the globe to promote peace, love and harmony so that we can make this world a better place to live in, now and for future generations to come.

I’d like to end this blog with this special song for Went.

And a song for humanity.
