Wentworth Miller: A Screenwriter for "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle."

Posted on 8:11 AM by hill wilf
Went is truly making a name for himself in the Film Industry for his amazing writing skills and is being  associated with some of the big names there.

Went has once again been sought after for his brilliant writing skills and has been approached to write the adaptation of “The Story of Edgar Sawtelle”  and is currently in negotiations.  The novel was written by David Wroblewski.  This bestselling novel was part of Oprah Winfrey’s book club in 2008.  According to sources Oprah Winfrey, Kate Fore, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman will produce the movie.

It just goes to show what a talented man Went truly is.  He is most definitely a gifted Screenwriter that’s for sure and most importantly, he’s following his passion which will give him a rich and fulfilled life.
I find it quite ironic that one of Went’s favourite books as a young boy “Where the Red Fern Grows,”  was based on a boy’s journey with a dog and here Went is being approached to write a similar type of story.   I’ve said it before that what we manifest comes to fruition and here’s a perfect example.

Read a summary of “Where the Red Fern Grows” here.

Went also mentioned that he’s allergic to animals in one of his interviews on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Allergic or not, Went still seems to have an affinity with our dear fury friends after all.  Gosh he even mentioned that he used to babysit them when he was temping earlier on in his career.   Went loves listening to Patti Page.  Her song "How much is that Doggie for Sale" was a huge success.  It was one of my personal favourites when I was a tot.
Went, I do hope that our dear fury friends bring you lots of luck with this project! [She laughs.]
One last thing I'd like to say and that is ... Oh Went I’m absolutely thrilled for you and I'm extremely proud of you!  You leave me with no other alternative but to send you lots and lots of hugs and kisses, 'cause I know that you like them and you deserve each one of them.
I wish you all the very best with all your ventures dear Went.
