Come Rain or Shine!

Posted on 8:47 AM by hill wilf

It’s one of those rainy days when everything seems so droopy and gloomy here, in, would you believe? “Sunny South Africa!”  Yes it’s being raining cats and dogs all over my garden the whole day.   I’ve been locked inside with absolutely nothing to do except surf the net looking for news about Went … and… nothing!  I’ve got Ol’ Blue Eyes singing all those soppy love songs in the background which makes me extra blue as I’m writing this.

I thought instead of reading about Went I’d write something on his blog to pass the time.

Now you’re probably thinking what could she possibly write about if there’s no news about Went? Let me tell you I’m not one to let anything get me down.

Come rain or shine, high hail or thunderstorms I’ve decided to blog.  I mean Rainy Days and Mondays may have gotten Karen Carpenter down …

… they’re not gonna get me down that’s for sure.

I’ve mentioned before somewhere that Went is my muse and the problem is that when he disappears like this I find myself at a loss for words.  But then again when Went is around and I hear about him or see a picture of him it has the same effect.  I just can’t seem to win either way.

Gosh! As I’m writing this Ol’ Blue Eyes has stopped singing.  It seems that he’s also given up the ghost and disappeared.  It’s almost as if he’s also not prepared to help me out with inspiration either but before he stopped singing I managed to grab this tune of his for Went …

Before I bore you any further with my ramblings I’d like to end this blog by saying one last thing to Went … “You can run, you can hide but sooner or later I’m gonna find you.  It could be eating out at a bistro, or in a cosmopolitan restaurant or perhaps even sitting in your idling vehicle at a Drive-thru for fast foods, drumming the steering wheel with your long fingers impatiently or is it patiently?  It may even be news about a new Screenplay of yours or by a twist of fate that you’re going to act in a movie or in a new television series.  Whatever it is come rain or high water, sooner or later I’m gonna find you Went.  It may not be today, tomorrow, a hundred years or even a thousand years from now but I will find you.  I know I will! You’re far too precious to hide from the world!”
