Wentworth Miller's Sparkle.

Posted on 4:39 PM by hill wilf

Even though Wentworth’s “sparkle” has been hidden from the world’s eyes for some time, we must never forget that it is still being sprinkled onto paper and being brought to life onto our big screens for all of us to enjoy and appreciate.

I understand that it may be a little bit disappointing that Wentworth is not visible in person everyday on the Internet, and that his private life is kept under wraps, but somehow it has given me a great sense of comfort to know that Wentworth is safe and sound and that he is away from those prying eyes.

I must admit that I do miss his appearances too as he definitely brightened up the world with his beautiful presence and charming charisma. On the other hand I have a feeling of overwhelming excitement and joy that Wentworth has found his niche with screenwriting and that he is reaping the rewards from it too!  It also pleases me to know that Wentworth is contented with his choices and with his life in general.  I bet most of his fans feel the same way as I do!  After all, what more could we possibly wish for, especially as he is someone who is so very dear to us all?
It shouldn’t be forgotten that Wentworth is leaving everyone legacies that will never ever lose its wealth as they will continue to become more valuable with each passing year.  Now, that is something to treasure and though his sparkle is not apparent to the observing eye, his brilliance is still illuminating our world with whatever he does and wherever he goes.

Thank you dear Wentworth and God bless you, as always!

Absence for Wentworth Miller.

Posted on 9:18 AM by hill wilf

Wentworth … absent but never ever forgotten!

Absence

Sleep is Death's image,--poets tell us so;
But Absence is the bitter self of Death,
And, you away, Life's lips their red forego,
Parched in an air unfreshened by your breath.

Light of those eyes that made the light of mine,
Where shine you? On what happier fields and flowers?
Heaven's lamps renew their lustre less divine,
But only serve to count my darkened hours.

If with your presence went your image too,
That brain-born ghost my path would never cross
Which meets me now where'er I once met you,
Then vanishes, to multiply my loss.

~James Russell Lowell~

I couldn’t resist adding this video.  I thought it was quite appropriate. [She laughs!]

The Moon Child and Wentworth Miller

Posted on 7:59 AM by hill wilf

I’m sure you’ve had those nights when your brain tells you that it’s not going to allow you to sleep but instead it’s going to make you think of random things all night long.  Well I experience those nights on a regular basis unfortunately.  I’m what you might call a “Night Owl.”  Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I was born a “Moon Child”!  Who knows?  All I know is it can be extremely frustrating at times.

I recently had the following uncanny experience that I’d like to share with you...

One evening last week when I did manage to fall asleep at a reasonable hour with unusual ease I woke up suddenly when someone whispered in my ear... "Wake Up!".  I looked at my clock it was 2.30 am. As I lay in bed staring into space I wondered what had just happened to me. I eventually brushed it off and put it down to a figment of my imagination.  Then my brain kicked in and I started thinking of those “random things” and as usual my thoughts drifted on to Went. I began thinking about his unique writing process. I imagined Went preparing his work methodically and meticulously as he sat at his desk with Frederic Chopin's Nocturno Opus No. 2 playing in the background.

As my mind whirled around and around with Went and his writing, I tossed and turned getting rather tied up with bed clothes and "other things" as words flew at me from all directions! Eventually it felt as though I was writing Went's screenplay on his behalf, and it all became too much for my brain to handle.  I fought my way out of of bed and I scrambled into my kitchen to warm up a cup of milk. I always add a teaspoon of honey to the warm milk because it makes me relax and it also helps me to sleep.  While I was warming up the milk I had an inclination to put on the TV.  When this feeling came over me, at that unearthly hour, it was so out of character for me because I don't watch a whole lot of TV and if I do, it's definitely at a reasonable hour. Anyway to cut a long story short, I do believe in following my intuition so I snapped on the TV.  I couldn't believe my eyes...  My heart skipped a beat as I stood there with my mouth wide open!

I'm not kidding when I tell you that there he was on the TV screen! The young Coleman Silk (Wentworth Miller) in the movie “The Human Stain” stalking Steena Paulsson (Jacinda Barrett) at the library, sussing her out with his seductive green eyes (hazel eyes as Went likes to call them).

I just had to add this picture 'cause I thought it was rather fitting!

Seriously though, what are the chances that out of all the movies and programs on TV, “The Human Stain” would be showing on TCM at 3 am in SA on DSTV? (And NO!  I know what you might be thinking... I did not set the program either.) The other bizarre thing is that Went’s character, Coleman Silk, appeared before my very eyes at that precise moment.  Let’s also not forget the fact that I’d just being struggling with Went and his writing for almost half an hour beforehand?    Gosh! [She exclaims and then bursts out laughing].  I sound like a lawyer presenting her oral argument in a Court of Law.  Perhaps I have missed my true vocation after all!

All I can say is that the Universe certainly has a funny way of getting our attention that’s for sure!  The burning question is… WHY????

Would you believe I actually settled down on the couch at that unearthly hour and continued watching the rest of the movie?  Now if that's not being "Went crazy" then I really don’t know what is?  Because, I do have the DVD that I can watch at a reasonable time anyway. [She giggles.]

I must say; "It was well worth it, my dearest Wentworth and I've a feeling it must've been moonglow that led me straight to you!"

Follow my link below to read about Went’s outstanding performancein “The Human Stain” and to see snippets of the movie that had me glued to the TV screen at the early hours of that morning.

For those who enjoy classical music I thought I’d share the genius of Vladimir Horowitz’ version of  Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 3 with the New York Philharmonic conducted by Zubin Mehta.  This was the piece that Went's character (Coleman Silk) requested in "The Human Stain."

I couldn’t possibly leave out Irving Berlin’s fabulous composition “Cheek to Cheek” sung and danced by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers 'cause I just love it and besides Sir Anthony Hopkins and Gary Sinise danced to it in "The Human Stain" too.

Thank you for reading and always remember... Be Good!

Pathways for Wentworth Miller

Posted on 2:15 PM by hill wilf

Pathways

Memory builds a little pathway
That goes winding through my heart.
It's a lovely, quiet, gentle trail
From other things apart;

I only meet when traveling there
The folks I like the best
For this road I call remembrance
Is hidden from the rest;

But I hope I'll always find you
In my memory rendezvous
For I keep this little secret place
To meet with folks like you.
