Wentworth Miller: Taking a stroll down memory lane with Wentworth Miller.

Posted on 4:28 PM by hill wilf

This particular blog is the most complicated one for me to write so far.  I’ve been deliberating, praying and meditating about it for some time now.  I never write anything without guidance from above and I’ve wanted to post these unforgettable pictures of Went for some time but I''ve had so many mixed emotions and thoughts about it.  Please bear with me and don’t run away as hopefully what I write here might make sense to you.  Or it might not.
By now you know how much I believe in honouring a person’s privacy and that it is of the utmost importance, but it’s very difficult to know where to draw the line.  My ego tells me to find out as much information about Went and to tell everyone how special he is.  My heart tells me how happy it makes  everyone to learn about him and his work and to see lovely pictures of him but then my soul speaks to me with wisdom and gently reminds me to honour Went’s choice of privacy and obscurity.  It reminds me to be respectful, peaceful and understanding, and not to be obsessive, selfish, possessive or over zealous.  So now you can see what a dilemma I’m faced with, when writing this blog.

I really want to share these special moments of Went captured on camera with you as they are truly a treasure for all of Went’s fans.  They're what keeps us connected to him in some weird and wonderful way.  I have however antagonised over this.  Should I post these pictures of Went enjoying his ordinary day? Is this overstepping the boundaries of his privacy?  I eventually reached the conclusion that these pictures have been on the Internet for some years now and I'm sure every Tom, Dick & Harry has seen them by now, so what possible harm could they do if I post them on my blog?  It is merely my gesture of goodwill to bring you a little bit of joy and happiness to see Went once again.  After all, it has been such a long time since we've seen him and I know speaking from my own experience, that any news about Went or a mere glimpse of him has such an uplifting effect for my soul.  It's also comforting and reassuring to know that Went is well and happy wherever he is and with whatever he's doing in his daily life.

Please forgive me if I seem a trifle paranoid but the last thing I would ever want to do is hurt, offend or annoy Went in any way be it out of my own carelessness or stupidity because my respect for him far out weighs any egotistical or selfish impulse I might have.

Dear Went if you  do read this please don’t be offended in any way, I merely want to share you with the world. [She laughs.]  Seriously though I wish to respectfully share these wonderful moments of you captured on film after all they do bring everyone a lot of cheer and joy and besides your radiant light is far too beautiful to be hidden.

[I couldn’t resist adding this picture. It’s precious.]

I know you have said in one of your interviews that you can’t understand why people would be fascinated in seeing you walking with a cup of coffee in your hands or doing shopping or even perhaps visiting the post office on occasion, but the only thing I can offer you from my side is this...  It’s just so wonderful to see you in any scenario as you brighten up our world.   I do however appreciate the fact that very often the paparazzi can be annoying, disrespectful and perhaps overbearing towards you at times, but without these photos of you, the memory of you could easily fade away, for some.  I also understand that the really upsetting thing about being in the Public Eye is having to put up with the shallow minded criticisms that are ignorantly published with some of the wonderful pictures of you, thus spoiling the wonderful occasion for everyone.  These narrow minded people don’t realise how upsetting and hurtful it is for you and your loved ones and I’d like to include your devout fans.  Anyway Went, we can’t change the world and  the way some human beings behave.  The only honourable thing we can do,  is to ignore them and pay no particular attention to them at all for we know that it's all ignorance and nonsense on their part anyway.

So without further ado here are a few of the special moments with Went, captured on camera.  Please note they are in no particular order and some of these pictures are credited to Wentology and Wentworth Miller Source and various other web sites set up for Went's fans.

A wonderful gif credit to Susie from Wentology

This is me tackling Went if I were to be so lucky as to spot him walking down the street.  Just look at the horrified look on his face.  Talk about being overbearing. [She giggles.]

Finally, I leave you with one of my favourite songs sung by Seal.
Thank you for taking this stroll down memory lane with Went.
Goodbye and God bless!
